FCA Rochester Lacrosse Day Camp

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 4th Annual – FCA Rochester Lacrosse Day Camp

ROCHESTER, NY – February 2, 2015 – Sean McNamara, the Fellowship of Christian Athlete’s Vice President of Field Ministry for the Northeast Region, announces final preparations are being made for the fifth annual instructional lacrosse day camp. This camp will take place from July 28-30, 2015 at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY.

Arguably the most exciting aspect of FCA’s ministry, camps offer students an opportunity to grow both athletically and spiritually. The theme for 2015 camps will be “Undefeated” based on 1 Corinthians 15:57. We serve a God who has never lost. His string of victories is unmatched. He has dominated the competition throughout history. He is the ultimate competitor with a game plan that cannot be stopped. God is holy. God is mighty. He is UNDEFEATED!

FCA is excited about the instructors that are being assembled for camp. The head instructor is former Syracuse defensemen, Solomon Bliss. Solomon played on two national championship teams and was a 2 x Honorable Mention All American. He has played professionally for the Rochester Rattlers and Hamilton Nationals.

Other coaches include Zach Bednarz (RIT All American), Dan James (Mercyhurst 1st Team AA/Head Coach McQuaid Jesuit), Joe Wilmot (Houghton College Head Coach) and many other top local coaches.

The lacrosse instruction will concentrate on skill development and the fundamentals of lacrosse.   Our emphasis on teaching will provide lacrosse players the opportunity to learn new lacrosse skills, strategies and provide guidance on how they can improve as a lacrosse player after camp completes.
