Lacrosse “4 Core” to be Featured Weekly

FCA is excited to begin weekly announcements of our “4 Core” which focus on FCA’s core values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence. These four core values serve as a guide to help FCA remain focused on our mission, and our hope is that our attitude and actions will always reflect our core values.  To ensure that our values always stay in front of us as coaches and players, we will be providing an opportunity for people to submit any “4 Core” that they as a coach or athlete have demonstrated themselves — or observed in others — on a weekly basis.  These announcements will be featured weekly through social media and press releases.

There is no limit to the amount of “4 Core” that one person can submit, and people are encouraged to not only submit their own core moments, but those of their players, coaches, children, etc. The first installment of our core moments will be released on May 30, 2016, during half time of the NCAA Lacrosse Championship.

“We look forward to sharing with you the “4 Core” moments where our values are demonstrated in the lives of those who have been a part of our program in the past, or who are currently involved.  As our program continues to grow and expand, we never want to lose sight of the personal stories and what it looks like when our mission and core values are lived out by the people who represent our program,” said Solomon Bliss, FCA Regional Coordinator.

Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ – to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
