Brandon Schultz, Midfield, Aquinas Institute
Schultz had a monster shot. He got off his 3/4 release shot incredibly fast and placed it well too. If he gets his hands free he is more than likely burying the shot. Opposing defenses definitely need to push out on him and not give him an opportunity to step down into space.

Connor Fitzgerald, Midfield/Attack, Pittsford Mendon H.S.
Connor was playing the right handed attack spot on Saturday and did a great job. He is a smaller and quicker guy. Connor could get shots off with his feet moving and did a nice job protecting his stick well when he was dodging. He was getting checked hard by his defender, but it didn’t seem to faze him and he didn’t get pushed out when he was dodging — despite not being a physically imposing player.

Tyler Bushnell, Defense, Honeoye Falls-Lima H.S.
Tyler had one of the best sticks on the field as a defenseman. He is a threat to score when he brings the ball up the field. When the ball was on the ground he was relentless not always coming up with the ball himself, but never allowing an opponent the opportunity for an easy gb. When guarding the ball, he was always on the players’ gloves causing them to make bad passes or having to fade far away from him to get off an uncontested pass.

Thomas Knapp, Midfield, Wayne Central
Knapp was another member on his team with a great shot. When he had room to step into it, he was almost automatic. He had a good stick and played with his head up making the right pass.

Nate Arnold, Defense, Palmyra-Macedon H.S.
Arnold was playing primarily in a LSM spot and he was very long and hard to run by. He was very good on groundballs and he broke up field after a save very quickly.
