The event, which will take place at Roberts Wesleyan College on July 30, 2016, will consistent of a clinic, lunch banquet and lacrosse tournament.  This event is open to any boys that just completed grade 1 or 2.

AR4 ShortsAs we introduce this grade level of athletes to FCA, we want to celebrate the life of somebody that embodied and is consistent with the mission of FCA.  In FCA we emphasize the importance of being a great teammate, and Andrew did this in a way that we want to celebrate and honor.  When we think about the type of coaches and players that reflect FCA’s values, Andrew Rohloff was that person as his life very much embodied the things that matter the most to us. We want to honor his legacy and plan to continue to remember his life through this annual tournament.    All proceeds from the weekend will go towards FCA’s Andrew Rohloff Memorial Scholarship Fund which will be used to send athletes who are in financial need to summer camps in Andrew’s memory.

We are excited about the caliber of the leaders coaching for the day, as each possess not only incredible knowledge of lacrosse with the ability to help players reach their full potential, but also know how to make the game fun while relaying life skills.   Just a few of the coaches include:

  • Sol Bliss, MLL Champion and two-time All-American
  • Ken Hastie, Coach for 3 Provincial Championship teams – Ontario, Canada
  • Chris Stack, Coach Frontier HS
