FCA and Lacrosse Community prepare to honor life of Andrew Rohloff

Rochester, NY – July 28, 2016 – On Saturday, July 30, 2016, FCA and the Rochester lacrosse community will be holding its first annual tournament to honor the legacy and life of Andrew Rohloff, whom we tragically lost last year.

“Andrew was an incredible teammate.  We are deeply saddened by last year’s tragedy, and want to make sure that a young man who was such a great teammate is not only remembered, but honored,” said Solomon Bliss, FCA’s Regional Camp and Community Coordinator.

Registration is still open for any boys who have just completed grade 1 or 2 – whether they are involved with FCA or not — all are invited to come together to show our continued support for the Rohloff family.   For details see nefcalaxboys.org/ar4

The event will include a clinic and tournaments, as well as a special lunch program beginning at 1:00 where we will be launching the AR4 Memorial Scholarship Fund which will be used to send athletes who are in financial need to summer camps in Andrew’s memory.

FCA still has numerous volunteer positions available to be filled; we welcome all to be a part of this very special day.   Please contact Sol Bliss if you wish to volunteer:  sbliss@fca.org
