  • Keuka College Assistant Coach, 2013-2015 – 2X NEAC Champs, 35-8 record

A native of Lafayette, NY, Ternosky was a 3-sport athlete at Lafayette High School (’08) where he played lacrosse, basketball and soccer. In addition to coaching at Keuka, Ternosky has coached JV boys lacrosse at Marcus Whitman, where the team was 0-16 the year before he coached, but went 7-9 with two subs during his year there. He was also assistant coach for the Finger Lake Storm travel team. Currently, he coaches modified boys lacrosse with FCA Coach Greg Scott.

Ternosky’s own coaching philosophy aligns closely with FCA’s mission: “I enjoy the off-campus opportunities to reach out to coaches and athletes, and how the huddles provide the team with input on how faith can drive them towards success on and off the field. I really appreciate the camaraderie among the athletes and coaches where people from all walks of life come together with each other and with God to share a sport that has rich tradition — the kids learn from me and I learn from the kids”

Ternosky enjoys spending time hiking, biking and riding his jet ski at his camp in Old Forge, NY, as well as playing video games and watching every type of sport — aka ESPN.
