As Dave Dence starts his journey as FCA’s Goalie Coach for the 2024 Team, he brings years of coaching experience with him, having previously coached youth basketball, baseball, softball and lacrosse. For the past four years he has served as goalie coach for Irondequoit Youth Lacrosse. Additionally, since 1993, he has been a high school and college basketball official.
“With FCA, I value how there is an importance about the person first, and not a sole focus on the sport; and how the teachings of the Bible are incorporated into life lessons and personal experiences. I also enjoy watching the goalies improve every day — in lacrosse and life, and working alongside the coaching staff,” Dence said.
Dence is employed by the University of Rochester as Clinical Analyst. He resides in Rochester with his beautiful wife Liz and their wonderful children Jake and Annika.
