FCA Lacrosse Assistant Coach and Huddle Leader Matthew Kaser is a student-athlete at Binghamton University. As a member of the Bearcats’ men’s lacrosse team, Kaser balances his time between athletics and academics, studying for his economics degree.
A native of Spencerport, New York, just outside of Rochester, Kaser played four years of varsity lacrosse. He also gained coaching experience, working with the local youth team in 2013 and 2014. He joined FCA as an athlete during his sophomore year of high school and competed for FCA Lacrosse before taking on the eventual roles of Huddle Leader and assistant coach.
Kaser fully surrendered his life to Christ as a senior in high school and now wants to help other athletes come to know Christ and learn how to compete for Him.
“FCA allows young men to compete at an extremely high level athletically while developing a relationship with Christ,” Kaser said. “I was blessed to have guidance through both of those experiences and look forward to helping others with the same processes. I want each team to become successful on the field and for the players to create relationships that they will keep the rest of their lives.”
Kaser is the son of Robert and Sonia Kaser. He has one sister, Samantha, and outside of lacrosse and school he enjoys hockey, KanJam and spending time with friends.
