Michael played lacrosse throughout his high school years at Canandaigua Academy where his team earned the Section V Class B Lacrosse Championship in 2013, and he continues to play at Nazareth College, where his teak won the 2015 Empire Eight Championship.

Having served as a huddle leader for FCA during the past two summers, Michael has been a part of FCA since 2008 when he played on FCA’s summer travel team. It was during the summer of 2009 that he came to know Christ. In 2010, Michael had the opportunity to play on FCA’s U-15 National Team.

Michael credits the coaches and huddle leaders at FCA for encouraging him to grow in his faith. “FCA has played a great role in my spiritual life. Through FCA I have grown in my faith and I have had the opportunity to share the word of God with young athletes,” Michael said.

He is excited for the opportunity to coach so he can share God’s Word with his players and help them have a similar, life-changing experience to the one he has had with FCA.

A resident of Farmington, NY, Michael enjoys hunting, fishing and cycling in the off-season months.
